SynthMaster Player is a simplied version of SynthMaster with limited editing capabilities. It is targeted towards users who prefer to use presets rather than designing their own sounds. It comes with 1100 factory presets. Users can edit the 12 easy parameters or the bypass states of layer/global effects assigned for each preset by the sound designer.

  • Cross-platform VST, AU and AAX: SynthMaster Player runs as a VST, AAX instrument on both Windows and Mac OSX, and as an Audio Unit instrument on Mac OSX.
  • 1100 Factory Presets: SynthMaster Player comes with 1100 factory presets from a world class team of sound designers: BigTone, Michael Kastrup, Rob Lee, Umit 'Insigna' Uy, Ufuk Kevser, Aiyn Zahev, Frank 'Xenox' Neumann, Teoman Pasinlioglu, Nori Ubukata and Brian 'Xenos' Lee.
  • Easy Parameters: Each preset in SynthMaster Player has 8 easy knobs and 2 XY pads assigned by the sound designer. Users can edit these parameters to modify the preset's timbre. The easy parameters can be linked to MIDI controllers using the easy to use 'Midi Learn' feature.
  • Microtuning: SynthMaster Player supports Scala tuning, so tuning can be set either for each preset or globally by loading from a Scala tuning file.
  • Preset Browser: SynthMaster Player features a comprehensive preset browser with separate search criterias for instrument type, preset attributes, music style or preset author.
  • Multiple Skins: SynthMaster Player comes with 2 different skins in different color variations. Using the user interface editor (included in SynthMaster/SynthMaster DEMO), users can not only customize the existing skins but also can create their own custom interfaces as well.

    No, everything bundle upgrade contains our presets banks only. You have to upgrade to SynthMaster for that purpose.

    You should contact Apple for refunds, as they handle the payment processing in the AppStore.

  • Can I purchase and use KV331 Audio's preset expansion banks in SynthMaster Player ?

    Yes, you can.

  • Can I purchase and use third party preset expansion banks in SynthMaster Player ?

    Unfortunately, that is not possible.

  • What are the differences between the free and paid versions of SynthMaster Player ?

    SynthMaster Player FREE comes with 300 factory presets, where as SynthMaster Player comes with 1100 factory presets. Aside from that, they have the same functionality. With both versions, you can purchase and use preset expansions banks released by KV331 Audio.

  • What are the limitations of SynthMaster Player compared to SynthMaster ?

    SynthMaster Player / SynthMaster Player FREE has very limited editing capabilities compared to SynthMaster: You can only edit 12 easy parameters assigned by the sound designer, and bypass states of layer/global effects. If you are not into designing your own sounds, the player will work well for you.

  • Can I upgrade from SynthMaster Player to SynthMaster?

    Yes, you can. When you purchase SynthMaster Player, we send you a notification email. In that email, there is a coupon code with which you can upgrade to SynthMaster Factory, Standard or Everything Bundle versions.

  • How can I import preset expansion banks into SynthMaster Player ?

    Please see pages 10-11 of SynthMaster Player User Manual, importing preset banks is explained there.
